MARS® and The FA

In October 2009 MARS® and The FA announced 5-year sponsorship deal.

MARS® became an Official Snack Supplier to the England Team and is also working with The FA on their grassroots Get Into Football campaign.

MARS® announced a 5-year partnership with The FA which positioned MARS® an Official Supplier to the England Team until July 2010, moving to Official Supporter of the England Team from August 2010 to July 2014. MARS® will also help drive new elements of The FA’s Get Into Football campaign during this partnership.

As the Official Snack Supplier to the England Team, MARS® will help galvanise the nation in their support for England, and bringing fans closer to the team.

In October 2009, The FA & MARS® announced a sponsorship deal at Wembley.

John Barnes visits ‘The Home of Chocolate’ and ‘The Home of English Football’.

John Barnes, ex-England footballer and ambassador for MARS® visited the Mars® factory in Slough – affectionately known to MARS® Associates as ‘the home of chocolate’ – to break the news to delighted associates. He then went on to meet the press at Wembley Stadium, where alongside Sir Trevor Brooking from The FA, he talked about the exciting times for MARS®, The FA’s Get Into Football campaign and the England fans that lie ahead.
